Principal's Message

Hello bulldogs!
Only two more weeks until Spring Break! I know everyone is likely ready for a break and some warm weather. 🙂 Fourth grade will be heading out to St. Augustine this week for their field trip. Parents- it is VERY important that students are here on time in the morning.

I hope you will consider participating in the One Love market on Saturday, March 7th, or at least stop by and check out what’s for sale. Turn on those creative brains to help raise money for our school!
Field day is coming up! If you want a front row seat to the action, make sure to check out the volunteer sign-up below. Spectators are not allowed at field day but you can get a good peek by volunteering your time!
Gratefully,

Please see the SignUp Genius link below and volunteer if you are able to do so. Please remember that you can only sign up once per session. 5th, 4th, and 3rd grade will be the AM session of Field Day. K, 1st, and 2nd grade will be the PM session of Field Day- please sign up accordingly. There are water stations and dry stations- if you sign up for a water station you may get wet. The deadline to sign up is March 10th, but space fills up fast, so please don't wait until then. All volunteers need to be Additions approved.

JOIN THE 3RD ANNUAL ONE LOVE COMMUNITY MARKET!

Calling all Brookshire families! It’s time to clear out your closets, fire up the 3D printers, or whip up your famous secret sauce. We are looking for families to host a table at our annual Community Market/Garage Sale!

We are hosting the market in the Brookshire car loop the same day as the Winter Park Pines Association's community rummage sale. We’re expecting a high volume of foot traffic, — which is great news, because the proceeds from your table will be donated directly to the Brookshire PTA!

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to get involved! Whether you want to clear out traditional garage sale items or showcase your "Handmade with Love" talents, we want you there.

  • Artisanal Goods: Jewelry, soap, 3D-printed critters, or slime.
  • Kitchen Creations: Homemade pickles, spaghetti sauce, or classic bake sale treats.
  • Garage Sale Finds: Gently used clothes, toys, sports equipment, and household treasures.

We aim to raise $1,500 at this event to help reach our total One Love fundraising goal of $23,500 for the year. Let’s make this the most successful market yet!
